Alright, I love my 2015 California T but I'm about to lose my mind over something as simple as a battery. The car has been sitting for about three weeks while I was traveling and now it won't start, just a weak click. I know I need to either jump it or replace the battery but I can't even figure out how to get to the damn thing. The manual says it's in the front boot but there's so much trim in the way. I don't want to start prying things off and break something expensive. A friend told me about the Trusted Ferrari Battery Installation Service By Battery Zone UAE and said they come to you and know exactly how to access these batteries without damaging anything. Has anyone here used them for a California or a 458? I'm nervous about letting anyone touch the car but I also can't exactly tow it to a dealer for something this simple. Is the access really that bad or am I just being a wimp? Also any tips on whether I should just replace the battery or try to charge it first? The car only has 25,000km on it so maybe the battery is just drained from sitting rather than dead. But I've heard Ferrari batteries don't last long regardless. Would love to hear from other owners about what you do when your Ferrari sits for a few weeks. Do you all use battery tenders? I'm kicking myself for not plugging one in before I left. Any advice appreciated before I do something stupid.
